Profile
(Google Scholar Citations)

About
Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly
literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines
and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions,
from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories,
universities and other web sites. Google Scholar helps you find
relevant work across the world of scholarly research.

Profile
Google Scholar Citations Helps to:

Keep track of the citations of your articles
 Who is citing them
 Graph over time
• Metrics

Private/public
 If public, seen in a Google Scholar search for your name!
Searching
• If someone searches for you in GS, papers authored
by you should come up in the search results

Where You Will Find Your Citation?

Log in using your Google Account
• Complete the required fields and as much additional information as
you are willing to provide
• Note: a university ‘email for verification’ is required to appear in the
search results!
Select your articles, either by groups or individually.
Be careful in choosing the articles as it gives so
many article where your name matches with other
similar authors. As in above example the article
appears as ‘S Ram’ but , it is not written by me.

This will help you to chose your article to be added on your profile
Initially Your Profile will be Private; Make it PUBLIC by Clicking
‘Make my profile public’
This will help other to find out your profile and articles
You can now see the number of articles and their citation status
You Can See the Total Citation of the papers, and since last five years
H-Index (the n number of article having n number of citation)
i10 – Index (Article with more than 10 citations)
Metrics: Citation indices
• H index: the largest number h such that h
publications have at least h citations
i.e. The H-index here is 3; as 3 papers with at
least 3 citations

Your Can Check the Authentic Articles which are written by
you, and if not then choose option for ‘Add article manually’

Once You have Created Your
Account
Send your ID to us and we will update it on JPubDB account at your JUIT
Publication Profile Page. The ID shall look like
