Noodles with poppy seed („Makiełki”)
„Makiełki”, which is noodles with poppy seed, raisins,
almonds, nuts and honey is a typical sweet dish served in
Poland during the Christmas Eve Dinner. It’s easy to make
and tastes really delicious.
Ingredients:
- One tin of cooked poppy seed with raisins, almonds, nuts
and honey (if you can’t buy it, you can prepare your own:
you will have to cook the poppy seed and grind it three
times. Then add one teaspoon of honey, some raisins,
hazelnuts and almonds)
- One packet of noodles.
Preparation:
Put the noodles into boiling hot water with a teaspoon of
salt and oil, and cook until they are ready. Then put them
into a bowl and mix with the poppy seed from the tin (the
ready poppy-seed cake filling, available from most of
supermarkets).
And then enjoy your meal !
Merry Christmas !
