Catherine of Aragon lived for 51 years Henry
married her because he thought she would give
him a son to rule after him. Also they were
married for 24 years !!!
Unfortunately she died of a broken heart because
Henry fell in love with Anne Boleyn.
Sadly there was a war in Spain and Catherine was
sent to England and married Henry.
She married on June 11th 1905 at Grey Friars.
She had a daughter and when she had a son, it
died of still birth.
Before she married Henry she married prince
Author. Henry was twelve and Catherine was 41.

Henry loved Anne whilst still married to
Catherine of Aragon she was young,
pretty and witty. They used to send love
letters they were married for three
years.
She was beheaded by Henry’s guards .
She was accused of witch craft to kill
her uncle.
Jane Seymour was her lady in waiting to
her .
Jane lived for 29 years.
She was lady in waiting to Anne Boleyn.
They were married for 1 year.
Henry did not like Anne but noticed Jane.
Henry was attracted to her kindness and she
was not bossy like Anne.
She died of birth her son to Henry was Prince
Ed she died 2 weeks after he was born.
Henry made Jane's Grave which means he
truly cares for her.
Henry was buried next to Jane.
Jane has a park named after her it is called
park Seymour in Wales
She had a coronation [a special ceremony to
celebrate her being on the throne.]

When Henry divorced her she did
not want to leave England and
she wished she had became his
sister not married him.
When she died she was buried in
a tomb at Westminster Abbey.
She died of cancer. Unfortunately,
she died 8 weeks before her
birthday.
Politically she helped make links
between England and Germany.
At this time there weren’t many
women that wanted to marry him.

was unsuccessful.
