Transcript Setting Up An Authorized User

What is an Authorized User? Do I need one?
•An Authorized User is a person you have given permission to access all or part of your student financial records online.
•An authorized user can view and make payments to your financial statement. Please note that authorized users DO NOT have
access to your stored payment methods, academic records, or other personal information.
•An authorized user cannot add or drop courses online in your behalf.
•You are not “required” to set up Authorized Users for your account. You ARE required to make sure that you are properly
registered and that your account has a zero balance or payment arrangements have been made. This is where an Authorized User
can be helpful.
Who can be an Authorized User?
•Anyone you choose can be set up as an Authorized User, provided you have a valid email address for them. This includes a spouse,
parents, grandparents, employers, or anyone else that you feel would need access to your financial record.
