EMRA was founded in 1974 and today has a membership of nearly 13,000 residents, medical students, fellows, and alumni. 1992 = Medical Student Section formed. 1994 = First Medical Student Forum. 2015 = More than 2,500 student members. This is a phenomenal opportunity to become more involved in the field of Emergency Medicine, network with students and faculty from coast to coast, and develop resources to assist fellow students navigate medical school and the residency application process.
