DVD Changes
• Historian for SCADA is a separate DVD and is
shipped with every iFIX DVD.
• Proficy Webspace is a separate DVD and this only
installs the Webspace components. The iFIX Client
installation has to be done through the iFIX DVD
and should be done prior to the Webspace
installation.

• FIX Desktop is no longer supported and will not be installed
through the iFIX 5.8 DVD
• Windows XP and Server 2003 will not be supported with
iFIX 5.8
• iFIX Failover is not supported on Windows 8 platforms
• Environment Protection for iFIX Graphics is currently not
supported with Windows 8 and Server 2012
