The three best friends that anyoneee can have!! Cabin mates .  Zoe, Chase, and I. Group bondage! Cody, Taryn, Chase, Zoe, Miranda, Jay, and I playing ridiculous games.

Just a little exhausted after kick the can. Goodbye, group 2! I think she finds our cabin acceptable. ;)

Off to Pat’s Point -Day 2

Packing up our canoes, excited to get on the water!

Wasn’t expecting it to be that hard! Taking a break at the entrance of Bowron River.

Didn’t expect it to be this beautiful!

Trying our best to work as a team.  The scorching sun was getting to us! Beautiful weather, and sun basking in the sand.

Off to Rum Lake- Day 3

The beautiful moose we woke up to, such a majestic creature! One of the three portages. A nice walk through the jungle. 

The clearest water all trip! Cariboo River. It was a little shallow, but we made’r!

A bit chilly after the tepee sauna! Warming up by the fire.

Last visit to Pats Point- Day 4

Putting away the tepee from the sauna the night before. It was totally worth every second of it!! The water filter was only a little bit broken. ;)

The birthday kids with there jiffy pop! Lucky ducks.. Don‘t let its looks deceive you.. Its not as fun and exciting as you think it is, especially when Nick, your partner, decides to be a naturalist and doesn’t bring wheels. -. Funky hair-do feast time!

Day 5- Coming home!

Its pretty amazing how this…. Turns into this!! In such a short period of time.

Its pretty self explanatory. ;) We’re so close, I can almost taste the burger! A REAL MEAL!!!!! She’s a happy frog..

Ness Lake- Day 2

Enjoying ourselves! Such a great day. The beautiful view!

3 Things I Learned

 Smudging; an aboriginal tradition to cleanse your soul before you start your day.  No matter how much you want do things on your own, you will almost always do better with teamwork.  I learned how sensitive bears really are to smell, I never thought the littlest bit of food could attract a bear.

3 Things I need to improve

 I really don’t need my whole wardrobe on a canoe trip!

 My stern paddling needs some SERIOUS improvement..  More snack food, less stove-required food.  (1 more for good luck) – I need to learn how to not forget my stuff everywhere!

3 Things I did well

 I did well at learning different paddling techniques quickly.  I improved quickly on how to use my stove, considering I was scared of it in the beginning.

 I picked up that guy from Vancouver pretty well, too.
