contributing to cancer.
To develop a prognostic assessment tool to
measure the life expectancy of the palliative
children and young adults suffering with
cancer.
To evaluate prognostic assessment tool
among the palliative children and young
adults suffering with cancer.
Sampling
• The sample will be
collected from United
Kingdom Children’s Cancer
Study Group (UKCCSG) at
London and Macmillan
Cancer Support, London.
• Validation of the sample
will be from Keech Hospice.
Expected outcomes
• New tool will be developed which will potentially
contribute to NHS.
• Wide application among palliative children and
young adults.
• Procures financial benefit to the Department of the
Health.
