Therefore, having been justified by faith,
we have peace with God

by faith
into this grace
in which we stand;
and we exult in hope of the glory of God.

For by grace you have been saved
through faith;
and that not of yourselves,
it is the gift of God;
Salvation by grace---what God does
What grace is
For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of
God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What is a “free gift”
A gift is something which one has no right to
expect, which has not been earned due to
work
A “wage” is not a “gift”
Paul wrote, "Now to the one who works,
his wage is not reckoned as a favor, but
as what is due" (Romans 4:4 NASB).
