Parents’ News – June 2013.
The PA Committee represents the parents/guardians of all children attending Dunboyne Primary
School and one of our main functions is fundraising for the school.
Recent Events-Active School Flag
Congratulations to the Senior
School on achieving the ‘Active
School Flag’ . The ASF
committee, teachers, Mr. Lyons
and all the staff including the
parents and children worked very
hard to achieve this. There were
great celebrations when the
Minister for Arts, Culture and the
Gaeltacht, Mr. Jimmy Deenihan
presented the flag to the school
(pictured on right). He said he
was very impressed with what he
witnessed that day. Well done to
the students who participated in
various sports and physical
exercises leading up to and on
the day of the minister’s visit.
The Minister indicated that the
school could lead by example in
what they have achieved.
