Basic principles of the sound insulation
The combination of light boards with air volume between them
increases the sound insulation between two premises

Sound insulation of windows
Basic principals during selection of sound insulating windows:
- The windows should be with different thickness when are
combined – for exmp. 4 + 6 mm or 4 + 8 mm;
-The usage of wider spacers increase the index of sound
insulation;
- In glued together windows the adding of PVB membrane
increases the index of sound insulation;
-The frame and the connection to the wall have significant
meaning;
-The sizes of the frames – in increasing sizes of the window
without extra framing the index of sound insulation is decreasing;
- If it’s possible to be added sound absorbing to the internal
perimeter of the frame;
