FRT12 Rate Totalizer Quality & Simplicity in Flow Measurement
Introduction
Overview
The FRT12 flow rate totaliser has been specifically designed to operate with pulse producing flow meters such as positive displacement, turbine and paddle-wheel sensors, without the need for external power.
Ultra low power consumption is a result of innovative design which provides may years of service from a replaceable lithium battery.
External power may be applied to interface with common controllers such as PLC's via the scaleable pulse output and/or optional analog output. Multipoint linearity correction of the flow meter input can be programmed to enhance flow sensor rangeability.

Programming
Simple Programming
The FRT12 is fully user programmable and has selectable PIN protection for security.
Simple flow chart programming with English prompts enables less technically skilled users to configure the FRT12 with ease. Once in the program mode the scrolling prompts guide you through the entire programming routine greatly reducing the need to refer to the manual.
Outputs
Scaleable Pulse Output
A selectable NPN or PNP output with variable pulse width is provided to ensure compatibility with commonly used PLC inputs and counters. The default width of 300ms (frequency permitting) enable most PLC's to successfully scan the incoming pulses with standard input circuits, reducing need for the additional cost of high speed counter inputs.
Loop Powered 4 - 20 mA Output
An optional high resolution analogue output enables transmission of the instantaneous flow rate. During configuration the FRT12 will simulate the zero and span currents with a facility to digitally tune these values to match your secondary instrument .
Outputs
Flow Alarm Outputs
Optional NPN or PNP selectable high and low flow rate alarms have independently adjustable dead bands to provide application flexibility and enable connection to commonly used devices.
Enclosure Design
Thoughtful design enables the FRT12 to be mounted directly onto flow meters regardless of their orientation. Multiple conduit connection also reduce wiring restrictions simplifying and minimising installation costs.
Optional stainless steel mounting kits enable wall or pipe mounting with commonly available worm drive ring clamps.

FEB10 Series Batch Controller Quality & Simplicity in Flow Measurement
FEB10
Introduction
Overview
The FEB10 is a fully programmable high speed batch controller specifically designed to operate with common pulse producing flow meters such as positive displacement, turbine, mass, vortex or magnetic style. Power.
The instrument displays batch value, batch progress & cumulative total in engineering units as programmed by the user, it also logs the total number of batches performed and total volume dispensed.
The FEB10 scrolls messages to prompt the user at each stage of operation. Batch limiting and no flow detection are “safeguards” against erroneously high batch entries, loss of flow input signal or pump failure.

CONTROLLER NETWORKING
FEB10 has a networking feature which allows up to 9 individual batch controllers to be networked together with each being connected to one common flow meter
(see opposite).
Typical applications are where one liquid is being dispensed to a number of individual outlets or a number of different liquids are to be batched via one common flow meter. Networking takes place when any one controller is started, at this point the flow meter input (count) is restricted to the controller in use, all other controllers will not count and their start function will be inhibited.
