My picture
Who I am ? Brief presentation.
I am Tanjona RIVONIRINA, working for Handicap International Madagascar Program.
I have been working for 2 years as National Technical Advisor , in charge of Inclusive
Employment (IE) sector within Inclusive Local development project . The program just created
its Technical Unit to promote quality and transversal Approach and complementarities
between projects in IE, psychosocial and accessibility sectors. So, from January 2014, my
position will be extended to Program level to promote IE and support our Prison and Filariasis
Projects. It is planned to develop an IE sectorial project in the coming month

I am an expert / specialist in …..
I am an expert in Inclusive Employment. Before HI Madagascar, I was a Project Manager for
5 years within organizations which support economic development of vulnerable groups in
several regions of Madagascar.
My mission : To promote technical and methodological quality of IE in our program and
projects implementation in Madagascar.
For that purpose, :
I take part in the definition and concretization of Madagascar Program strategies in IE ;
I ensure the respect of the implementation and follow up of IE Technical Referent
recommendations by considering the local contexts ;
I guarantee and promote HI positioning towards local partners ;
I develop and propose tools to maintain quality of the project methodology ;
I take part in writing new projects with IE component ;
I ensure the technical monitoring and evaluation of our actions in order to update our
guidelines to ameliorate quality of our interventions.

To improve visibility of our actions
To ensure the continued implication of our technical partners to support people with disability (PwD)
To develop support which will permit PwD to have financial autonomy and social self-realization
