Standard Blackboard Integration Options
> > >
LDAP ID:
Users will provide their LDAP ID and password during the Rave registration process. Rave will user the LDAP ID that was verified to retrieve Blackboard information for that user. The user will not need to re-authenticate at the application level.
Blackboard ID:
Users will provide Rave with their Blackboard ID and password. Rave will use the Blackboard ID and password to do an initial authentication with Blackboard. Once authenticated, Rave will only store the Blackboard ID. This method is used if neither LDAP ID nor Email address match the Blackboard ID.
Email Identifier:
Users will provide their Email address and password during the Rave registration process. Rave will use their Email identifier (ID prior to the “@” symbol) in order to retrieve Blackboard information for that user. 10 proprietary & confidential
