Know Your
Bible
B  basic
I  instruction
B  before
L  leaving/life
E  earth/ends
What do you need to do to know the
content of a book?
• we can always read the table of contents or the back but you really
understand a book once you read it
• when we read the Holy Bible, it can become a habit and we stop
paying attention to what we’re reading
• The HB teaches us that, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of
God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness” 2 Timothy 3:16.
• “for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God
spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit” 2 Peter 1:21.
• these verses show us that the HB is several works put together
from the holy spirit, NOT fabricated by man
