Summer Training Violation
Summer Training Opportunities
Team practice – We will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 8:30 to
10:30. We are upping the ante for the Summer Running Award this year. Gone are the
days of a meager cotton T. In lieu of a T-shirt, your hard work and dedication will be
rewarded not only by getting the most out of your XC season but also with a long-sleeve
team warm-up shirt! Shirts will be awarded at the Alumni Race on 8/18/12. You must be
present to receive your award.
Summer Running Award Criteria:

attending Summer Practice at least 7 days
·
signing in on google apps weekly
·
helping on running trail at least 5 times during the summer
·
Consistent running & showing improvement from past summer training
We have a few objectives that we would like to accomplish with this new summer focus…
1) Injury Prevention: Last year we had an inordinate amount of injuries and we will be
relegating your training in the fall to what you are able to do

medical documentation research that shows
annual physicals are better than one every three
years.
