• To use the e-signature interface you must have a document in
PDF format.
• Whether you scan your paper work or you create it on
Instanet as long as you have a PDF file you are ready to go.
• Convert your document in a PDF format
• CAUTION: instanet forms and security issues
STEP 1 : SIGN IN TO SILANIS
• Step 1: Sign in to Silanis www.silanis.com
STEP 2: CREATE NEW PACKAGE
STEP 3: NAME PACKAGE
Advanced options: include in person
signing feature
Name of package will
be visible to the clients
or person you will be
sending the document
to sign to.
STEP 4: ADD SIGNERS

Type in :
the signers
name and
email. If there
is more then
one signer you
must repeat
this step for all
signers that
you add

If there is more then one
person to sign you should
then click on ``Define a role
workflow``.
Make sure they are in the
correct order ie: Joe Bloe is
name number 1, Jane Doe is
name number 2, etc… The
first person that will receive
the email is Joe Bloe and will
be required to sign. Once
signed it will go to the next
on the list and so one and so
forth.
If you made a mistake in the order, left click here (between both dotted
lines) on your mouse and drag it up or down depending where you want
that name to be

***By default the

Pick which signer you
wish to add then click
on ADD SIGNATURE

CLICK ON SETTINGS FOR OPTIONS
Click on the wheel for
settings
CLICK ON ADD FIELD
CHOOSE FIELD YOU WISH TO ADD
PLACE CHOSEN FIELDS TO DESIRED PLACE
ON DOCUMENT
Drag and drop the
boxes where you
want
LAST STEP : SEND
This will send
notifications to all
signers. Signers will
receive email or SMS
notifications when it is
their turn to sign

Once all of your
clients have signed
you will see it here
If you click on the address you
will see which document has
been signed. If you wish to
see it, click on the actual
document
You will see that the document has been
signed by all parties and that the package is
complete
ADVANCED OPTIONS : LAYOUTS
Once you have
saved your layout
you could save it to
be used for
another listing. You
just have to Save
layout, name your
document ie: AM 1
when you want to
save 1 signature
only, AM2 when
you require 2
signature, etc…
EVIDENCE SUMMARY- WHERE TO FIND IT
You will find the
evidence summary in
the package
E-SIGNATURES AND EZMAX
•
– You need to have the original PDF version of the
document with the electronic signature (in the file)
must be uploaded in eZmax (not printed and
scanned)

• 2-To prove authenticity, you must (have in file) upload
the evidence summary in eZmax
• Situation 1: all signatures on document are
electronic
• You must upload the final PDF version in eZmax and
•
upload the evidence summary (do not print and scan,
upload directly to eZmax)
• Situation 2: Document contains electronic
signatures and non-electronic (hand written)
signatures
• Situation: your client signs a document using
electronic signature. Then you send the document to
another broker for his client to sign. The broker sends
you back the document signed.
• What to do:
• you must upload the original PDF to
eZmax (with your client’s e-signature)
• upload the evidence summary,
• upload the new document sent back
with the other signature (hand written
signature).
• N.B: An electronic signature is
considered an original only on the
original PDF- it is no longer an original
if its printed and/or re-scanned
CONVERT YOUR DOCUMENT TO A PDF FORMAT
From transaction select
the form you wish to
convert and click on the
form
CONVERT YOUR DOCUMENT TO A PDF FORMAT (CONTINUED)
Click on forms
Select your form and choose convert
your from to a PDF format.
Then click on the arrow to continue

You can now save your
document
