Big Questions
Q: Do I need a computer?
A: Probably. Public computers are available, but you may want
the ability to work from home. Both Windows and Macs work
fine. Don’t buy software! It’s available online, or at 105
Bellefield Hall.

Q: Do I need a laptop?
A: No, but they are convenient. If you are buying a new
computer and can afford a laptop, you should seriously
consider it.
Q: Do I need a PDA?
A: Not during your first two years, but you may want to use one
for its organizer functions.
