A Guide for Students
and their Parents
What is in the future for our students
Grade 10 courses are prerequisites for Grade 11
Courses.
What Subject Level will be best for maximum student
achievement – Academic or Applied?
University requires an average of no less than 72% for
non-competitive programs and 80% for competitive
programs.
This means that in Grade 11 – 12 course marks under
70 are really failing Grades.
It is important to realize!
If a student is struggling in an academic
course and the mark is below 70% summer school make up courses can be
used to re-enforce learning.
High School does not need to be
completed in 4 Years.

THERE ARE MANY CHOICES
Acceptance into any University or
College Program is based on marks.
Students must have Academic Grade
10 prerequisites to take Grade 11
University or Mixed courses.
THERE ARE MANY CHOICES
If a student struggles at Academic it is
important to determine what work
habits are lacking and develop them.
If a student is not capable to change
their habits then success becomes
limited.
If the student limits themselves then it
is important to limit their academic
demands.
