ISLAM IS BASED ON 5 PILLARS:
THE SHAHADA – LA ILAHA ILLALAH,


MUHAMMAD-UR-RASUL ALLAH
SALAH – pray at specified times 5 times a day



ZAKAT – paying charity to the poor
SAWM – fast in the month of Ramadan
HAJJ – trip/pilgrimage to Makkah (Saudi Arabia) at
least once in a lifetime

The BELIEF/IMAN in 6 things:
1 – ALLAH
2 - his Angels
3 – his Books
4 – his Messengers
5 – the Day of Qiyamah (Judgment)
6 – The Qadr (Fate/ Preordainment) of Allah

ISLAM IS BASED ON THE RIGHT BELIEF
AND ACTIONS.
THE BELIEF IS NECESSARY FIRST, THE
ACTIONS HAVE TO FOLLOW ACCORDINGLY
TO ENSURE JANNAH.
THE GOOD DEEDS ARE NECESSARY FOR
JANNAH.

WHEN IN GOOD TIMES AND IN BAD
TIMES
IT IS TO REMEMBER ALLAH WHEN WE ARE
TESTED WITH GOOD (WEALTH& CHILDREN)
AND BAD (SICKNESS, EARTHQUAKES,
LOSS OF GOODS OR FRIENDS, ETC.)

ENVY IN ISLAM?
Narrated Ibn Masud (RA): I heard the Prophet
(saaw) saying, "There is no envy except in
two: a person whom Allah has given wealth and
he spends it in the right way, and a person
whom Allah has given wisdom (i.e. religious
knowledge) and he gives his decisions
accordingly and teaches it to the others."
(Sahih Bukhari, Book #24, Hadith #490)

REMEMBRANCE OF ALLAH
"Those who believe, and whose
hearts find satisfaction in the
remembrance of Allah; for without
doubt in the remembrance of Allah do
hearts find satisfaction.”
