Digital Library of the Caribbean DLOC is an international initiative dedicated to preserving and increasing access to Caribbean research materials, promoting and supporting Caribbean Studies, and fostering a collaborative digital library community in the Caribbean region.

Digital Library of the Caribbean • • • dLOC database stats as of Summer 2011 1.5 million pages of Caribbean content Books, journals, newspapers, photos, music snippets 35,000 registered hits in June 2011

Digital Library of the Caribbean • • • • • Future Sustainability May 2011, TICFIA program terminated with 2 years left to go on grant dLOC will live on!

Project coordinator will continue in role dLOC Executive Board agreed at June 2011 meeting to launch drive for fees Member/Partner fees necessary to continue training costs (especially travel)
