The International

Seniors Team Championship  The Puerto Rico Senior Golf League, Inc. is a non for profit corporation, organized under the laws of Puerto Rico.

 The League was founded in 1998 with the objective of promoting golf for the seniors and the general population in the Island.

 The League organizes over 30 tournaments every year for its members. 4

The International

Seniors Team Championship  In addition we run an Interclub Match Play competition that includes eleven of the golf clubs in the Island.

 From the original 59 Founding Members we have grown to over 1,200 members in all Puerto Rico.

 The League is affiliated to the Puerto Rico Golf Association, the governing body of golf in the Island.

The International

Seniors Team Championship  During the Puerto Rico Open celebrated last year, the League provided 62 volunteers to the PGA.

 In 2009 we will continue our support to the Puerto Rico Open with additional volunteers.

 In 2004, during the International Golf Federation World Amateur Golf Team Championship (WAGC) we provided 55 volunteers to the IGF. 6

Seniors Team Championship  The International Seniors Golf Team Championship is by age group, as follows:  50-54 years Tecas   55-59 years Caobos 60-64 years Robles   65-69 years Guayacanes 70+ years Ausubos   Age as August 31, 2009 Note: The categories are named after trees grown in the Island (ie. Youngest tree TECA, oldest AUSUBO) 8

Seniors Team Championship  With a population of 194,636, Ponce is Puerto Rico's second largest city (San Juan is the first and Mayaguez is the third). Saturday - Golf Legends Awards Banquet  Enjoy a fantastic event and share a moment with Puerto Rico’s Golf Hall of Fame members.

Sunday - Bloody Farewell  As our Russian friends would say, enjoy a warm farewell breakfast with Bloody Mary Cocktails to toast for a great week of new found friends.
