IDAS™ Remote Communicator
The RC-FS10 Remote Communicator
 The RC-FS10 Remote Communicator creates an IP-connected virtual
radio(dispatcher) on a Windows PC which may be located anywhere an
appropriate IP connection is available.
 Up to eight virtual radios can be IP-connected to a repeater.
 The RC-FS10 consists of the CT-24 USB VOCODER unit and a virtual radio
Windows PC software.
 The CT-24 has an ESN which can be used for identification of a unit. The PC
software will not work if the CT-24 is not connected.
 The CT-23 desktop microphone adapter for SM-25. (Option)

Dispatcher
(Remote Communicator)
Operation:
• The uplinked voice from a terminal radio will not be repeated but sent only to the assigned
virtual radio / dispatcher via IP.
• Uplink from the virtual radio /dispatcher will be down-linked from all of the repeaters.
• This mode can be used in cases where communications between terminals is not intended.
Benefits:
• Saves the unnecessary transmission / power consumption by disabling the repeat function
• Secure communication with the dispatcher from a terminal radio
• The dispatcher can control the entire communication
