Leadership
Leadership Tutor – Dr Jonathan Pyott
[email protected]
Dr Pyott commenced as Leadership Tutor in 2014 and has been working on projects alongside colleagues
in the Trust to enhance Leadership for doctors in training.
During December 2014 – August 2015 Dr Pyott will be running a new programme called PATH which is a
multi-professional Leadership Development Programme.
This Programme uses peer-learning in which the learning is predominantly gained through conversations
and relationships established in multi-professional partnership. Successful applicants will work in
partnerships and these will be the focus of the learning and development. The learning is built on
supporting constructive and developmental conversations and is underpinned by the following elements:
Discussions & Conversations - informal between different professionals
Reciprocal Work-shadowing
Leadership & Improvement workshops
Quality and Service improvement projects
Your Programme Lead will also be able to supply you with more detail on the supporting evidence behind
this approach to leadership development.
