Computer Room Rules
 No food, gum, or drinks in classroom
 Students are responsible for the lab
equipment and will be charged for
any damages
 Use only authorized websites,
software, and peripherals for this
course instruction
 Do not customize icons, wallpaper,
etc. on the workstation and leave it
the way you found it
 Leave the workstation the way you
found it.

 Always be your best and do your best.

This is a learning environment.
 Treat others as you wish to be treated.
This classroom is a place where we are all
respectful and respected, MUTUAL
RESPECT.
 Be responsible for your learning by being
on time, being prepared for class, and
remaining on task.
 Be responsible for your work during
absences.

 When you enter the classroom…
 Enter quietly and sit at assigned
workstation.
 Begin the Opening Activity:
directions are on the website.
 Wait quietly for the teacher’s
instruction if further information is
necessary.
 Save work often during individual
work time.

 Warm-ups…
 These are checked each Friday and are
worth one point each.
 Use the format and include the day and
date for each entry.
 Answer the warm-up below the day and
date. You may want to write the question
or restate the question in your answer.
 These questions may be used on a quiz or
test so you may want to have all the
information in your e-journal.

 To obtain the teacher’s attention…
 Raise your flag on the monitor
 When you see the teacher’s hand
signal…“Give me five”
 Freeze (stop what you are doing)
 Lips Closed
 Hands and feet still
 Ears listening
 Eyes on the speaker

 When it is dismissal time…
 Save work and close all documents
and applications. Be sure to log off
the computer.
 Leave your workstation as you
found it.
 Stay in your seat until you hear the
teacher dismiss you.
 Leave quietly and in an orderly
manner.

 If you have been absent…
 Check the website for missed
assignments. You may be excused
from school, but you are required
to make-up the assignments.
 If you have questions, ask teacher
before class, after class, or during
individual work time in class.
 Turn in missed work promptly
based on the number of absent
days.

 Enter class quietly
 Hand tardy pass to teacher
 Proceed quietly to your seat and
join the lesson
