State of the Laminate Flooring in North
America
• After a decade of double digit growth, the laminate
flooring industry has experience slowdown this year,
however, the best estimate currently is that laminate
flooring has been affected less than declines shown
in most of the other categories of flooring.
• In fact, many companies and industries have
experienced declines much worse than this and have
come out on top.
• As an industry, we need to continue to come together
to be successful.
NALFA Looking Ahead
• Laminate flooring will again experience
substantial growth as long as our industry keeps
producing quality products with all the features
and benefits that accompany laminate flooring.
• The NALFA Certification Seal that represents
high-quality flooring will become even more
recognized.
• New and innovative technical features will
continue to surface.
NALFA’S Strategy for Success:
The 5-P Plan
