– ZixGateway supports Push and Pull
– Due to technical restrictions, mobile devices cannot handle Push
messages
 Side note: competing push-only products force the recipient through multiple
steps to convert the message from Push to Pull

– ZixPort will have odd-numbered versions
– ZixGateway will have even-numbered versions

– Allows a recipient to verify the domain from which the email
originated
 Aids in anti-spam and anti-phishing efforts
– Operates at the mail server level
– Uses a DKIM DNS record
– Based on public key cryptography
 Outgoing messages are digitally signed
 Recipients verify the digital signature

 ZixMobility is a feature of ZixPort 5.0
– July 2011
– No additional charge, automatic
– No immediate changes to existing ZixPort portals
 You will receive a notification
– Target date for your portal to be upgraded to ZixMobility
– Dates when you will be able to see a preview of your upgraded
portal
 What if I need more time?
– Contact us to setup a delayed upgrade date
