Physical
characteristics
• The web-footed gecko is a
tanish color with spots of
yellow, black/gray and brown
• The web-footed average
length is 5” inches
• The web-footed gecko has tiny
scales that is colored to match
the sand and it has scales on
it’s eyes! 
• The web-footed gecko has 2
unique body parts. It’s feet
and it’s tail. The tail on a webfooted gecko falls off when
being attacked and the feet
keep the gecko from sinking
into the desert sand

(Southwest Africa)
Namib desert and
on cold nights it is
foggy to keep the
animals moist. The
fog comes from the
ocean.
