AMEC Measurement Month 1-30 Sep 2015
What is Measurement Month?
• September 2014 saw AMEC’s first Measurement Week and it was
success
such an enormous
that it has been extended to a
month and will continue to be an annual feature of AMEC’s work.
free to attend
• Measurement Month is filled with
events,
webinars, executive discussions, podcasts, workshops and much
more, focusing on filling the gap between understanding the value of
PR measurement and doing something about it.
• AMEC members will organise events in their own country as
Measurement Week moves weekly to each region so
across the globe as
activities take place
part of AMEC’s Global Education Programme.

Hints and tips of hosting an #AMECMM event
• Remember your event can be as large or small as you wish
• You can partner with another organisation to host a joint event
• You can involve clients to show case their comms evaluation work and
invite prospective clients
• It doesn’t have to be a face to face session; webinars, tweetchats and
podcasts are great ways to reach a wider audience and make the
recording available to play back afterwards
• These events can be used as training and as a means of employee
engagement within your offices – domestic and international
• You could invite vendors in, for example, social media specialists, online
tool demonstrations or research/academic/trade organisations
• The event can be an opportunity to offer free trials or demo your own
company’s services
