• She was an angel.
• The night was a dark cloak that
surrounded me.
Simile
• A comparison between two unlike things
using the word ‘like’ or ‘as’.
• Her teeth were like stars, they came out at
night.
• Her nose was like a rose; a big red one.
• She moved soft as the night.
Personification
• When we give human qualities to nonhuman or inanimate objects.
• The wind danced in the trees.
• The breeze kissed her cheek.
