Go to www.masteringchemistry.com
Click “New Students”
Answer the question: “Do you have an access code?”
Select:
“Yes, I have an access code” if you purchased a text with a code.
“No, I need to purchase access online now” if you do not have a code.
Click “Continue”
If you selected “No, I need to purchase access online now,”
then mouse over the book covers and click on your text.
Some texts offer an available eText. Select “Yes” if you wish to
purchase access to the eText at this time. If you select “No,”you can
upgrade to an eText later.
Click “Continue”
Read the License Agreement and
Privacy Policy.
Click “I Accept”
Select:
“No” if this is your
first Pearson
product.
“Yes” if you
already have
another Pearson
account.
Or “Not Sure.”
Create a Login Name
and Password.
Confirm Password.
Enter your unique Access
Code.
Click “Next”
Enter First Name, Last
Name, and E-mail Address
Enter School Country, Zip
Code, and School Name
Scroll down.
Select a Security Question
and answer it.
Click “Next”
Congratulations! You have
successfully created a Login and
Password.
Next click “Log In Now”
Some books contain a Study Area. If you don’t have a Course ID, select
your text and click “Go to Study Area.”
Study Area: If you don’t have a Course ID, you can still use the Study
Area activities. You can Join a Course later if your instructor gives you
a Course ID.
If your instructor has given you a Course ID and instructions
for entering a Student ID, then enter the Student ID and
Course ID information.
Click “Save”
and “OK.”
