Therefore, the goal of the district’s Parental Involvement Program is to engage and empower 85% of the parents and community members to become actively engaged in making decisions that will meet the needs of all students in the school system. Paula Battle Nash-Rocky Mount Public School System Parental and Community Involvement Nash-Rocky Mount Parent Involvement Program will establish collaborative action teams across the district. The teams will be comprised of parents/guardians and teachers. The group members will plan and organize training sessions for all stakeholders during the 2012-2013 school year to promote communication and building a partnership in the school community.
