Using your VLE: The issue

Without planning, the danger is that VLEs can become repositories for
static content.

With planning, a VLE can become a learning community in which the
learners themselves generate some of the content.

With simple and imaginative techniques, teaching staff can spend less
time preparing materials, and more time simple and imaginative
