Format: listening test (dictation), min. score both texts 80%

For students with surnames starting with H – O : 18.15 hrs.
For students with surnames starting with P – Z: 18.45 hrs.

If score for both texts 80% or more? ►
Enroll via Blackboard from 10 AM

If all groups are full? Place in next course (March 31, 2011)

If Score <80 %? ►
No enrollment allowed, 2 options:
1 Do self-study and concluding test of the
course, or
2 Sit the next Admission test in March.

The lessons
• lessons are mainly devoted to conversation
• only Dutch, from day 1 onwards
• conversation on topics in the text
• knowledge of the text is indispensable!
• after each class: listening
test on computer in computer room
The daily listening tests
• Computers tests in TBM comp.room 1st floor
after your class ( see timetable).
No books allowed!
• Listening test about every text; you need to
pass for each text.
• Bring your own headphones (Limited number of

Procedure:
1 login (username: TBM-LANG201-460, password Welkom01)
2 Select from Menu/Start: 1. ‘Groene boek’
3. listen to a part of the text
4 type the words you heard – feedback: ..x.. words
are correct
5 after ca. 10 sentences: total result in %
Result 80 % or more: click on “verder” for test 2.
Result less than 80%: stop.
The final grades
Composed of:
•3 homework tests during the course
• listening skills: tests on computer, on each text
• speaking skills
• writing skills: 2 assignments
• attendance
If total result ≥ 7, concluding test not obligatory
