Background
•The Service & Network availability datasets exist to provide up to date
information about the current state of BT’s 21CN network and the
products it support.
• Several different datasets have been constructed to show different
views of the data such as Broadband service availability and Voice
migration dates.
•The information is refreshed at the beginning of each month.
•The information can be found on a dedicated area on
BTWholesale.com
When do we publish the Datasets?
Published every month, 3rd working day.
Dataset Granularity: datasets will be updated monthly on a rolling basis…….
Available via the BT Wholesale &
Openreach portals
– first six months, individual month
view.
– next 6 months split into two 3
month periods
– next 12 months as a single period

The Datasets
Network Inventory Datasets
– The network inventory is one of the main pieces of information BT provides to
CPs about its Network to assist CPs undertake investment planning taking into
account use of Openreach and Wholesale obligatory products.
– The network inventory comprises of about 30 datasets that reveal network
location details, network topological details, numbering details, and network rollout details relevant to obligatory products
Service Availability Datasets
– The Service Availability datasets identify the sites at which services supported on
21CN and the date from which they will be available.
– Designed to enable CP’s to identify sites and service availability & migration to
enabling their customer migration or availability of service.
Service Availability datasets are updated every month.
Network Inventory datasets tend to be standing data, updated as required.
