Queen Elizabeth //
The Queen spends a lot of time
meeting important people
from all over the world, but
she also visits ordinary
people in their homes.
She sends a birthday telegram
to everyone in Britain who
has their 100th birthday.
Some people think that the
Queen is too formal. Most
people
(including
her
friends) must call her “Your
Majesty”.
Philip Mountbatten
The Duke of Edinburgh was born
Prince of Greece and Denmark
in Corfu, June 10, 1921. He was
the only son of Prince Andrew
of Greece, with four older
sisters.
Philip had titles conferred on him
by the King before his wedding

Baron Greenwich, Earl of
Merioneth, and his more

official Prince of the Realm in

They also admired her for the good work she did.
Diana was a supporter of many charities and
she was committed to helping the poor, the
elderly, the diseased and, above all, sick
children. She visited Angola and Bosnia to
publicise the destruction and misery that
landmines cause and comforted victims fo
these terrible weapons.
