Concepts driving the development
 Focus on market needs

High quality products



5 Year warranty
Option of PING WARRANTY (need to be connected to web)
Minimize inventory for dealers
 Whether you’re needs are 2 variable with 2 on/off



Facilitate service for dealers


or 8 variable with 120 on/off, and 16 inlets. It’s done with
The same control.
Goal : NO repair department
Facilitate training for dealers
Hardware aspects

Modular design
 With 8 different boards, we can offer a complete line of products








Power supply
Top board
Input board
Variable board
Relay base board (for 2 modules)
Relay module (with 2 relays, 1.5HP each)
Override switch board
Load cell input board
Hardware aspects (cont.)

Safety






Temperature sensor on EVERY output
Current measurement on EVERY output
Fuses on EVERY output (except alarm)
Feedback on critical signals to make sure every module is working properly
Surge protection on every input, alarm relay (including gas tubes) and variable output
Certain relays can be used as N/C for a fail safe condition.
Hardware aspects (cont.)

Highlights of power supply module



Alarm relay with strong surge protection
Switching power supply
 More efficient
 Less heat build-up in the box
Plug-in connectors
Hardware aspects (cont.)

Highlights of Top board





Color touch screen
Linux operating system
Ethernet communication
 Allows wireless communication, e-mails, SMS, etc.
USB ports
SD memory card which contains ALL the information (parameters AND software)
Hardware aspects (cont.)

Highlights of the input board



12 completely configurable inputs (temperature, 4-20 mA, 0-10V, water meters, etc.)
Gas tube protection
2 LEDs for easy diagnostic
Hardware aspects (cont.)
 Variable board




10 Amp output
Current and temperature measurement
2 LEDs for easy diagnostic
Very high quality components, which will ensure long life
 Innovative high voltage design which protects other components if one fails
 Large heatsink with clips (as opposed to screws) to attach triac which will ensure high
product reliability and ease servicing.
Hardware aspects (cont.)

Relay board








Up to 4 relays (2 plug-in modules of 2 relays)
10 Amp / 1.5HP output
Current and temperature measurement of each relay
2 LEDs for easy diagnostic
Feedback to make sure the relay coils are actually energized (Smart Switch Relays)
Each relay has a fuse
2 potentiometer inputs
Override switches connect directly to the relay boards
Hardware aspects (cont.)
 Switch override board
 2 options




 2 independent on/off/auto switches
 1 manual/auto and a potentiometer
2-color LEDs show status of each switch
Microprocessor for every board tells main control which switches are in manual
or automatic mode
 Retains last known parameters if control fails.
If one switch fails, you only have 2 switches to change instead of a large board
(a lot less expensive)
ESD protection on every switch
Hardware aspects (cont.)
 Load cell measurement board




MUCH more accurate than competitors
MAY allow to skip calibration altogether
2 LEDs for easy diagnostic
Can be used for
 Bird weighing
 Bin weighing
 Feed scale
 Multi-ration feeding
Hardware aspects (cont.)

Box







14x21” size
Allows sufficient space for 8 boards AND wiring the boards easily
Up to 4 variable boards in one box.
This means up to 3V12SA w/12 inputs + 2x 0-10 V outputs in ONE box.
The SAME box is used for relay panels (1 power supply + 7 relay modules = 28 relays)
NO clear cover. Mil-spec silicone rubber boots
No need to drill holes in box to add variable modules.
Communication

MODBUS communication between modules and boards



Provides complete alarm and diagnostic status for every board
Allows access to existing industrial modules (frequency drives, etc.)
Ethernet communication between controls


Enables us to use readily available wireless solutions
Allows each controller to access the internet
 Download new software
 Add new features
Communication (cont,)
 Alarm



Connected to the internet, will send text and or emails to notify of any alarm
condition.
More reliable and faster than any dialer. (If connected to UPS)
With smartphone, log on and acknowledge alarm or make changes.
 Inovarum compatible

When using any of the Inovarum software modules all data will automatically
update in real time.

A productivity software that helps
capture data, centralizes actions and Todo's and manages producers’ activities
from contingency rights & procurement
planning, flock scheduling, feed
programs & building preparation,
production monitoring to live haul.
A performance monitoring solution that
provide users with just-in-time data,
status, warnings, reports and applied
corrective measures to ensure
production meets expected results
A governance tool that provides
detailed & summarized technical and
financial performance to help owners,
farm managers and employees with
their production responsibilities

Solutions
Maximizing contingency rights planning and
procurement for each period and appropriately
allocate flocks according to buildings availabity and
capacity
Continuous capacity and resources planning and
scheduling
Planning and monitoring deficiencies resulting in
not meeting the proper weight and mortality ratios,
therefore impacting on contractual agreements
Daily monitoring of key technical and financial
performance indicators through on-site data
capture
Difficulty to capture, allocate and report flock’s
technical and financial data during production
prevent constant visibility on margins performance
and returns
Constant access to planned vs actual vs to
completion costs, revenue and expected financial
performance
Difficulty to adopt, standardize and meet best
practices results in seeing compliance agencies
and guidelines as control entities and measures
Integrating and computerizing compliance criteria
will standardize and increase production success
and ensure meeting best practices expectations

Software aspects (cont.)




Data-logging on the control (8GB SD card)
Remote access to allow dealers to verify issues
Diagnostics codes stored on boards to allow “Black-box” type
analysis after a failure
Remotely update software for top board AND modules
Software aspects (cont.)
