The Nature of God
Displayed On A Tree
“And the Lord God planted a garden
toward the east, in Eden; and there
He placed the man whom He had
formed. And out of the ground the
Lord God caused to grow every tree
that is pleasing to the sight and good
for food: the tree of life also in the
midst of the garden, and the tree of
the knowledge of good an evil.”
-Genesis
Christ redeemed us from the curse of
the Law, having become a curse for
us—for it is written, “CURSED IS
EVERYONE WHO HANGS FROM
A TREE”—in order that in Christ
Jesus the blessing of Abraham might
come to the Gentiles, so that we might
receive the promise of the Spirit
through faith.

And I saw a new heaven and a new
earth…and I saw the holy city, new
Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from
God, made ready as a bride adorned for her
husband. And he showed me a river of the
water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the
throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle
of the street. And on either side of the river
was the tree of life, yielding its fruit every
month; and the leaves of the tree were for the
healing of the nations.
And there shall no longer be any
curse; and the throne of God and of
the Lamb shall be in it, and His bondservants shall serve Him; and they
shall see His face, and His name shall
be on their foreheads...and they shall
reign forever and ever. And he said to
me, “These words are faithful and
true”.
