IEEE Eastern NC Section

The local IEEE organization is the Eastern North Carolina Section (ENCS) http://www.ewh.isss.org/r3/enc/ . This encompasses the greater Raleigh area, east to the coast. There is a subsection organization for the Lower Cape Fear area. In the ENCS we have approximately 3000 members. This makes us the 2 nd largest section in the South East United States. Active chapters in ENCS include: •Computer Society •Electromagnetic Compatibility •Geoscience and Remote Sensing •Engineering Management Society •Engineering in Medicine and Biology •Power Engineering/Industrial Applications •Robotics and Automation •Neural Networks •Communications Signal Processing Information Technology •Antennas/Propagation Components, Packaging (ACME) •Manufacturing Technology Microwave Theory and Techniques
