Generally Speaking
Essential Oils are:
• Made from natural products. From the leaves, bark, stems,
flowers, roots and seeds of plants.
• Easy to use.
• Perfect for home made remedies and natural wellness.
• Can be used in your home, office and outside.
• Can be used with your pets (not recommended for cats!)
Quality of Essential Oils
There are many different qualities of essential oils.
Before purchasing essential oils, check the label. The
label should say Pure
Therapeutic
Grade Essential oil. If it doesn’t say Therapeutic
Grade then you can be sure there are fillers, and
synthetic additives in the oils to help make them smell
better’.
This is true of the expensive oils, such as rose oil as well as common
oils such as lavender. Look for ingredients such as oils and no fillers
or synthetic agents.

Where Do I
Begin?
Most people begin because they
are looking for natural solutions
for improved health and wellness.
Integrating essential oils into your
daily lifestyle can be as simple as
rubbing a couple of drops of
Lavender (Lavendula Angustifolia)
for relief from itchy skin or bug
bites. And some implement new
health habits by making their own
natural skin care, cleaning
products and daily supplements.
How to Use Essential Oils
There are 3 ways to use essential oils:
1. Aromatically – simply open the bottle and smell!
2. Topically - apply the oil directly to the affected area.
3. Internally – take the oils internally.
