Security’s SEVIS system.

Thru TraiNet, you can update info as required by USAID, Dept of
State or Dept of Homeland Security

Instructions for TraiNet
•
USAID requirement: all training participants traveling to US on
SANREM funds be registered, apply for US visa
•
In-country & 3rd country training – be registered
•
Each lead univ has responsibility for implementing J1 visa process
•

Employees of SANREM subs who do their corporate duties in US
are not training participants.

3 Types of Training
1.US based Training : Form 10-A

Submit at least 90 days prior to the program start date
Need passport picture page
4 Parts: Trainee, Trainee for visa, Program, Funding info
Forward DS 2019 to ME

2. 3rd Country Training : Form 10-B

Any 3rd country trainee
Report data at least quarterly into TraiNet
Prefer to get the form15 days prior to starting date
3 parts: Trainee, Program, Funding info
3. In-country Training : Form 10-C
- Any if training lasts 2 days + (16 contact hours +)

To ensure delivery of the DA-2019, programs should be
approved in the VCS and submitted to SEVIS a minimum of 3
weeks prior to the date of travel

W/O passport face page , application will be rejected and not
submitted to SEVIS

Any file submitted to EGAT/ED and SEVIS if the travel date is
less than 2 weeks from the date of VCS approval

Health and Accident Coverage
•
All US bound training participants must be enrolled in the HAC
insurance coverage thru Highway to Health (HTH)
•
Required for all 3rd country participants : HTH is not mandatory
•
