A large river of ice
which moves very
slowly downhill.
They form where
the accumulation
of snow is more
than the ablation
or melting. An
example is the
Aletsch Glacier in
Switzerland.

cover all aspects of glaciation including:
 processes: erosion, transportation and deposition
 landforms: from arêtes to the zone of ablation
 case studies: what examples can you remember?
