Millburn has a Silver Award and is now going to work towards a Green Flag.
We would like representatives from all years and all houses to form an Eco
Committee which would link with Pupil Council working towards shared goals.
One of the key topics will be Litter.
There will be a meeting for next Thursday lunchtime Rm227 for anyone interested
in being part of the Action Group

Training takes place on the astroturf from

Shin guards must be worn. Mouth guards
are recommended.

MAFIA
MAFIA (Millburn Academy Friends in Action) was set up over 25
years ago as a community fundraising group for the school. The
idea behind it is to encourage staff and parents to get together
to raise funds for the school and have some enjoyable social
gatherings. We would like to extend an invitation to any S6
pupil who would be interested in joining us. We meet about
once a term and try to arrange about 3 / 4 events per session. It
would be beneficial to have your input. Our first meeting is on
Tuesday 26th August at 7pm in the staffroom. Please let me
know if you are interested.
