MyITLab First Day of Class Registration Walkthrough Revised: August 18, 2011 before you register Before you register, be sure you have: A valid email address Course ID from your instructor Sample Student access code Sample registering for myitlab 1. Start your Internet Explorer and go to www.myitlab.com. 2. Click the Students button in the First-Time Users registration area. registering for MyITLab 3. On the Register for MyITLab page select one of the following: a. Yes, I have an access code. or b. No, I need to buy access. registering for myitlab 4. Click the License Agreement and Privacy Policy links to review this information. Click the button to continue. registering for myitlab 6. If you do not have an account, click the No option. To make it easy, use your DTCC email address and password. Enter and then re-type your desired password tip: use your DTCC email address as your login name: it’s unique and easy to remember! On the Account Information page, enter your first name and last name. When entering your first name and last name in myitlab, please use the same name you use for Delaware Tech. Please NO NICKNAMES or abbreviations. Thank you! 10. Type and then retype your @DTCC email address. [email protected] registering for myitlab 11.In the School Location section, select the country in which your school is located. 12.Enter your school’s ZIP or postal code. Since the course is originating at the Owens Campus use the Georgetown zip code 19947. 19947 registering for myitlab 13. Select your school from the list. 19947 tip: If your school is not listed, scroll to the bottom of the drop-down list and select Other. Enter your school name and city and select the state from the list. registering for myitlab 14.Select a Security Question and enter the answer. 15.Click the button (only once!) to submit your registration. tip: The Security Question and answer helps Product Support verify your identity in case you forget your login name or password. registering for myitlab 16. A Confirmation and Summary page displays, indicating your registration is successful! 17. Click the button to log into myitlab. tip: If desired, print the confirmation page to keep a record of this information. A copy of this information will be emailed to you. logging in to myitlab After you register for myitlab, you can log in and enroll in your instructor’s course. 1. On the Login page, type your login name and password. Click Login. logging in to myitlab 2. The first time you log in a welcome message will pop up. Read it, click Do not display this message again, and then click OK. enrolling in a new course 3. On the My Courses page, click the Enroll in a Course button. enrolling in a new course 4. Enter the Course ID provided by your instructor. Click Submit. 5. On the Confirm Course screen, verify the course and instructor are correct. Click the button. enrolling in a new course 6. On the Summary screen, confirm the information is correct and then click the button to enter the new course. congratulations! You are now registered and enrolled in a course in myitlab!
