Transcript Orthographic Introductioin

What is Orthographic Projection?
Ortho – from a Greek word meaning
‘straight’, ‘right’ or ‘square’.
Graphic – from a Greek word meaning
‘to draw’.
Orthographic – means to draw looking
‘straight on’ or ‘square on’ to the object.
To see the exact shape of a surface we
must look at it ‘square on’. That is at 90
degrees or at right angles to the surface.
