• OC-UCY is interested in participating in and facilitating GEOTRACESrelated activities in the Levantine Basin
• The use of the physical oceanographic activities of OC-UCY as a
foundation on which to build the biogeochemical operational
oceanography component of OC-UCY
• A Mediterranean GEOTRACES transect? Discussion tomorrow
• A Mediterranean GEOTRACES transect:
• Tracing an Atlantic ocean water mass back to the source;
• Providing the impetus for regional and local process studies to
generate GEOTRACES-compatible data.
