Summer Internship
Program
Member companies host college interns for the Summer Internship
Program.
The CDCA provides up to $4000 to member companies to supplement
the labor cost for these interns.
The CDCA will work with Colleges and Universities to post the
positions.
It is the responsibility of the host company to evaluate candidate interns
and request the supplemental funds from the CDCA education
committee.
Requirements for student applicants:
Must be a resident of South Carolina
Must be a college student pursuing a degree at a South Carolina
College or University
Must be a Citizen of the United States of America
Host companies are encouraged to give preference to student
applicants who are pursuing engineering or technical degrees.
However, selection based on DoD relevance, not technical relevance.
