Benefits all students but is especially effective with atrisk and special needs students.

that work and the ways in which technology can
support and integrate these strategies.
• Research shows these instructional strategies
causes great gains in student achievement.
Average gains of 34 percentile points.

Our PD Plan
• Read the book. (Principals, Assistant Principals,
Teacher Coachers, and Media Coordinators)
• At each LTM, instructional directors will share
with principals ideas to use an instructional
strategy with technology.
• At each school, principals will lead a PD session
about technology ideas for each instructional
strategy with help from assistant principals,
teacher coaches, and media coordinators.
• Each month teachers will select ideas to integrate
technology in the classroom.
• Model: 1 to 2

• It is not about the technology itself but
our goal is to use technology as a tool to
engage our students in learning
experiences that will be applicable to
their world and future.
