Joining Information
• You are requested not to bring more than
ONE
small bag with you. You must bring an exercise book, pen, pencils & any books provided by the school.
• You are expected to dress modestly in the Gursikhi way and not to indulge in a "fashion parade".
• Please bring a patka / chuni to cover your head.
• Don’t forget to bring your medication with you that you may be taking.
• Any further information can be obtained from the sewadars at the Gurdwara.
Rules & Regulations
• All complaints regarding fellow students are to be brought to the attention of the teachers. Under no circumstances shall any individual take it upon himself / herself to discipline fellow colleagues.
• Parents/guardians must make sure their child/ren are dropped and picked at the times agreed.
• Jewellery and other valuables should not be brought to the school.
• Student will be deemed to have withdrawn from the school after
three continuous absences
without any valid reason or prior agreement with the teachers. • Student may be asked to withdraw if they do not bring in text and exercise books.
Liability
• Students will be responsible for the cost of any damage to premises, equipment or other property damaged by them.
• Although the school will provide textbooks free of charge but any subsequent replacement will be charged at the nominal cost.
Fees
Karamsar Punjabi School operates under the following 10-week term times: Term 1 – September – December; Term 2 – January – March Term 3 – April – July Annual/Term Fees are payable in advance as detailed below: All Punjabi Classes Kirtan Classes
Payable as
£ 20 Annual fee £ 5 per class Maths/Science Tuition Classes (8 places per class) £ 25 Registration then, £10 per month To aid the administration of the school, fees for Punjabi classes are requested to be paid annually in advance. Payment for Kirtan classes are payable during the lesson.
Cheques are to be made payable to ’ Karamsar Punjabi School’.
Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 15 students.
