Great experience of international cooperation with countries of AsianPacific Region, agreements with basic nuclear institutes of Vietnam and
institutes of other countries – recipients of Russian nuclear technologies.

laboratories on nuclear issues.

Three trajectories of managers of cross-cultural
communication suggested by FEFU
1. Personnel training on the basis of graduates who have higher education in the field
of construction or other engineering specialty.
(Language training for two/three years as a part-time education (second higher education), or
in the form of additional professional training (occupational training))
2. Training of specialists who have higher education in the field of linguistics, regional
studies, oriental studies.
(specialists will have professional training on the programmes of additional professional
education in the field of process management of nuclear facilities construction and operation)
3. Training for managers of cross-cultural communication (first higher education) on
degree programme 035700.62 (bachelor) «Linguistics», specialty “Theory and practice
of cross-cultural communication in the countries of Asian-Pacific Region”.
(for this type of training in the university the main educational programme on the basis of the
own education standard if FEFU is developed and implemented)

Conclusion
Localization in South East Asia is a necessary condition to promote
Russian nuclear technology to local markets.
To ensure competitive advantages it’s important to train Russian
localization managers with cross-cultural competencies to provide
supervision over local subcontractors.
In case of the stakeholders union the effective training of both Russian
and foreign experts is possible on the basis of FEFU on bachelor
programmes “Operation of NPP Heat and Power Equipment”.
In FEFU it’s economically reasonable to train Russian specialists
(qualification upgrade) in cross-cultural communication who are sent to
work in recipient countries.
